First Impression: My Thoughts and Opinions on iWhite Korea Nose Pack
“Wow, this looks so promising!” This was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this product on Watsons. I ended up adding the nose pack to my shopping cart because I was having a problem with blackheads on my nose. Also, I found the packaging cute, so it kind of convinced me to try it. It was my first time using a nose pack because I never used any back then since the blackheads on my nose didn’t bother me before.
But when the annoying dots started to be noticeable, I started to feel a bit intimidated.
When I saw this product, I was curious if it can really remove all of my blackheads. Aside from the cute packaging, another reason why I chose this product over other nose packs is its price. I bought the nose pack for only $0.35 in Watsons. Great deal, right? You can also find this on other health and beauty stores or drugstores at the same low price.
iWhite promises to soothe the skin while effectively stripping off dirt on your face. It also helps in tightening the pores resulting in improved skin texture. On the packaging, it is written that this product is refined by Bio-Nanotechnology, which gives ingredients increased potency to effectively take care of the skin. It also claims to help individuals who are having a hard time dealing with their whiteheads and blackheads.
According to the product description, you must use it 2-4 times a week for best results.
The product is packed in a small sachet, which makes it convenient to bring anywhere you go. However, the first problem that I encountered when I used this product is, it can be messy. There’s no way to make the sachet stand on its own, so some of the creams can spill easily if you’re not cautious. I think they already addressed this problem through different packaging designs, a tube, to avoid this problem. The tube is bigger and has more content, and of course, more expensive. If you just want to try it out, I recommend you to buy just the sachet.
My Experience
I think it was only last year when I first used iWhite Korea Nose Pack. I remember the time I was so excited to remove all my whiteheads and blackheads.
I use this product after cleansing to remove excess dirt and oil on my face, especially on my nose. Applying this after taking a bath is highly recommended. I suggest cutting the tip of the sachet with scissors to open it without hassle. Applying it is the real challenge though. I used a generous amount at the tip of my index finger to ensure that I will be able to spread it evenly on my nose. One good advice that I can give you if you have oily skin is not to put too much amount of the cream on the wings of your nose. This is because, based on my experience, the cream doesn’t dry off quickly in this area. You can also put the remaining cream on the parts of your face near the nose. Sometimes I put it on the cheeks, and there are times that I put the excess amount on the T-zone.
The thing here is that if you already put a cream on the tip of your nose, it will be hard for you to place additional cream on top of it. It’s because the cream is a bit sticky and dries off easily in that area. This will only make it messy and might remove the cream that you have already put on your nose.
Wait for 15 minutes for the cream to dry. In my case, I usually wait for 20-25 minutes to ensure that the cream is completely dry. Some even wait for 30 minutes to feel the effect. As you peel off the nose mask, you’ll have this tingling feeling and feel the cooling sensation that the nose strip gives. It also makes you feel refreshed afterward. I use a moisturizer after peeling off the strip to bring back moisture.
On my utter disappointment, the nose mask only removes some of the blackheads. I’m not even sure if those were really blackheads or just facial hair. Since I don’t have many whiteheads, I still do think that it can remove some of it, but not all of it as the product claims. Even if you use this multiple times, it won’t completely solve the problem. Maybe it’s effective for some, but me; it’s a disappointment.

Verdict
I believe that the product has good intentions when it comes to removing blackheads and whiteheads.
However, using it alone is not sufficient in addressing the white/blackheads problem at all. It can help a little bit when it comes to removing shallow blackheads and whiteheads on your nose. Aside from that, it can also remove facial hairs and can make your nose feel smooth afterward. If you really want to remove all of your blackheads and whiteheads completely, I recommend that you find an aesthetic center and just avail of their facial treatment. This option is more expensive, but the guarantee of removing all of your blackheads and whiteheads is greater than spending a lot for a nose pack.
As for my case, the facial therapist mentioned that I have large open pores on my nose, which is why it is prone to blackheads. This makes it harder to remove since the blackheads are already deep, and using a nose pack will not be effective at all. Pores can also be tightened through a laser facial treatment, which, on my case, is the recommended action to ensure that I would not have to be troubled by my blackheads. Again, using a nose pack will not tighten pores. iWhite Korea Nose Pack is just a band-aid solution. Using it can give you a glimpse of what it feels like to have clear skin, but the long-lasting effect of it is not guaranteed.
