Bioderma products are products that I just simply believe in. Bioderma is a mix between biology and dermatology. All the products by Bioderma are made to preserve, activate, or restore the skin’s natural processes. Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF 30 is a great product for dehydrated and sensitive skin, dry to very dry, but also for sensitive normal to combination skin.

About Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF 30

I first met Bioderma products while doing some research on the Internet about Atopic skin. My baby girl had dry and sensitive skin, and Bioderma was my choice to prevent the Atopic skin. I had never used anything from their brand until one day when I was in my local drugstore, a woman that was doing the test with sophisticated monitoring told me I have no other skin problems due to my greasy T-zone, but my cheeks were way too dry and dehydrated. So she recommended me this product which comes in packing of 40 ml.

First Impression: My Thoughts and Opinions On Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF 30

My first impression of this product was the packaging. It comes in a small box, and it is a tube-pump. I never thought that I would need a product for dehydrated skin but, here I am using it. This cream has a baby rose color and smells like something fresh and clean, and the texture is thick as well. It absorbs into the skin very fast, and I do not have dry skin, so I suppose that for someone with dry skin this product is a must especially for winter days, because it hydrates the skin, but it also has SPF factor, and we do not want our skin to grow old too soon. Personally, I would never choose a product like this myself because I didn’t even know that I needed it, but I am glad that I had a chance to try it.

My Experience

From my own experience, this product really helps with moisturizing dehydrated skin, but I only use this on my cheeks. Even if it can be used for combination skin, I noticed glowing after applying it on my whole face. But that’s just me, and I have a greasy T-zone.

This product can also be used as a make-up base, and I suppose that for someone with dry skin, this will be an excellent primer. However, the skin on my cheeks has softened after more than a month of using this cream, and it gives a real feeling of purity after applying it on clean skin in the morning. My skin is not only softer, but it’s healthier and looks much smoother after using it.

What I Like & Dislike About Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF 30

Likes

  • Most of all I like this product because it has SPF 30
  • Tube-pump is easy to use, and you can control the amount of cream that you need
  • Can be used as a make-up base
  • It smooths your skin instantly

Dislikes

  • You should keep the cream upside-down, or you should wait some time for the cream to get down and then you can apply it

Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF 30 Alternatives

Even combination and greasy skin need treatment, especially in winter. But again, I will say I would not recommend it to people with oily skin. And if your skin is partly dehydrated like mine, then you can use Bioderma Hydrabio Serum because it is used at night so that the glowing face effect will be avoided.

Verdict

In my opinion, this is an excellent product. It has light-reflecting agents that immediately make the skin smoother and brighter. Mostly I like this product because it is anti-aging, anti-UV, and anti-Oxidant. High protection against harmful effects of UV rays is also needed in winter, and it does prevent premature skin aging. This cream is lightly scented and has no parabens. It has a combination of soft-focus powders and pearls that give the skin blur effect, and it blemishes wrinkles. It also has a velvety texture that makes the skin smoother.

Rating: 4/5
