As I have previously mentioned, my love story with Aurelia Skincare started when I was commissioned to photograph the brand’s founder, Claire Vero, for a friend’s article. Not only I fell in love with Aurelia Skincare’s values and work ethic, but I was also lucky enough to be gifted some of the products to try at home, and since then, it remains the brand I recommend to everyone who asks me for skincare advice.

About Aurelia Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser

Aurelia Skincare Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser is made with BioOrganic ingredients, which means they are sourced sustainably from around the world. If you are a fan of natural and vegan beauty products, I would highly recommend checking this brand further!

The website description says that: This multi-award-winning ultra-rich hydrating night cream fuses probiotic ingredients with plant and flower botanicals to hydrate and soothe, transforming the skin’s luminosity. Aurelia’s signature probiotic ingredients continuously protect, restore, and balance the skin from within. Probiotics expertly calm the natural immune triggers in your skin, which can be overstimulated by pollution and stress, and they reduce the damage these immune triggers cause to collagen, elastin, and healthy cells.

Supercharged, targeted BioOrganic botanicals include Baobab, which is rich in precious Omegas to revitalize the skin, firming Kigelia Africana, Rosehip, and antioxidant-rich Hibiscus to fight oxidative stress. Borage, Mongongo, and Avocado oils offer abundant levels of natural fatty acids offering long-lasting hydration and a youthful glow. Deeply nourishing Shea butter and cooling Aloe vera enable this cream to melt delightfully into the skin.

A delicate, relaxing sleep-time essential oil blend of Neroli, Lavender, Rose, and Mandarin helps you wind down and prepare for a restful night’s sleep.

As it is a luxury skincare brand, it also comes in a recyclable amber glass packaging with the most delicate label – pink and gold. It always makes me happy to look at it before using it, and the scent is relaxing but not overpowering.

First Impression: My Thoughts and Opinions On Aurelia Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser

After finishing my gifted sample, I took a deep breath and ordered a full-size Aurelia Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser for £58 at the brand’s website. I know, a proper investment. However, Aurelia Skincare also has a loyalty program, and by signing up to their newsletter, you can receive exciting discounts that might make it easier to purchase the brand’s products now and then.

With shea butter, avocado oil, Baobab, hibiscus, and apricot oil (amongst others), the Aurelia Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser melts easily on the skin, and it’s promptly absorbed. The relaxing scent comes from lavender, neroli, rose, and mandarin essential oils, the perfect mix to induce sleep, and start unwinding before bed.

Aurelia’s website recommends it for “nightly use for all skin types, including sensitive; nourishing, firming and hydrating the skin for a youthful glow; protecting and restoring the skin from within with signature probiotics; diminishing the look of fine lines and wrinkles; and boosting your skin’s natural nightly repair process for glowing, beautiful skin in the morning.”

The perfect night cream, right?

My Experience

I have been using Aurelia Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser on and off for about 4 or 5 years now. As it is one of my favorite brands, I try to save up to get it now, and then, as I believe this night cream is worth the investment.

I use it pretty much every night, and I notice the difference, especially during winter, as this cream is super moisturizing. It’s nourishing and hydrating, as the description says, and I do think I wake up with a more youthful and glowing complexion. Wishful thinking, perhaps? I wouldn’t say so. With Aurelia Skincare, I honestly think you get your money’s worth.

What I Like & Dislike About Aurelia Skincare Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser

Likes

  • a fantastic texture that absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy
  • a relaxing scent that helps to unwind before bed, not too overpowering but still noticeable
  • it delivers its promise of hydrating and nourishing all skin types, including sensitive
  • vegan and organic
  • doesn’t give me any breakouts

Dislikes

  • the price is not exactly inclusive as it is a luxury skincare brand
  • might not be available outside the UK or the rest of Europe

Verdict

I swear by Aurelia Skincare Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser – a product that I have bought several times before and will probably continue to do so.

If your skin is very, very oily, I might use just a little bit first to see how your complexion reacts to it. The Aurelia Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser has an oil-based with shea butter and other oils (such as avocado and apricot), so it might not absorb as quickly. Since I have combination skin (which gets drier during the colder months), I don’t have that problem. Different skin, different results, though!
